9. Kidney Stones
At times gout managed to infiltrate the urinary system. If this occurs a painful condition known as kidney stones develops due to uric acid. Hyperuricemia forms from the prolonged presence of high uric acid levels. This results in crystals breaching the kidney and causing stones. This condition worsens to acute uric acid nephropathy which degrades the kidneys. Kidney stones exhibits symptoms of back pain, blood in the urine and abdominal discomfort.
